Prince was a gorgeous Blenhiem Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, He was my baby, Very Loving and loyal
and full of bounce, He absolutely loved christmas time where he would open his own presents along
with our children, he was so much fun to be around, until one day he was lifeless and we found out
he had cancer where he died peacefully in my arms, i just want to let him know i still think of him
everyday and we miss him lots x

Saying Goodbye

No one expects to say goodbye to someone they love.
How can one say goodbye when they know they will never see them again?
How can one say goodbye when they know they can't bear too?
How can one say goodbye when they know they will be left behind?
How can one say goodbye when they know saying goodbye means no one to play with, no one to talk to, and no one to look after?
How can one say goodbye when a final goodbye is so hard to say?
So how can one say goodbye?
Goodbye is to say they will be missed.
Goodbye is to say that they will still be loved.
Goodbye is to say hope you are okay and having fun up in Rainbow Bridge.
Goodbye finally means it will take a long time to get over your loved one and that no one will or could take your place, though you are remembered and always in our hearts.
May you feel relief and happiness instead of sickness and sadness.
May you finally be able to do all the things you wanted to do and always dreamed about.
May you finally be free…so this is the last goodbye.
Still there
I saw you in the hall last night with all my buddies there
I sat down beneath your feet, but you were unaware.
Then I followed you outside where silently you wept.
Never knowing, by your side, the vigil that I kept.
Won’t you see me with your heart as once with your own eyes?

On the pet shop wall,
It's just a training tool
To teach, protect, that's all
One end is for your friend,
One end you will hold
It easily unattaches
Or so you have been told
But what about the perfect fit
Moulded by good times shared?
A bond has subtly grown
Because two hearts have cared
It's no longer leather
It seeks no restraining,
A ribbon of love has formed
Attachment unending
Too soon the heartstring sags,
Leather reclaims the wall
Numbly your grasp searches
One end is filled--that's all
Beware the leash, my friends
Its powers are great indeed
For if it ties your hearts,
They will know eternity.

Grief be mine, I ask you so,
If not for you, I wouldn't know,
How life once was and then be still,
How so precious, that death do steal.
Because that grief, won't go away,
Learn to let it have its way.
The link to love, a precious one,
Is met with grief and still not done.
The days do come, and nights do go,
Grief will stay as time is so.
And so a loved one passes on,
And grief comes in and carries on.
Does grief get better, I will ask,
It's hard to say, while at its task.
There is grief to help us cope,
There is God to give us hope.
Grief will surely go away,
On that glorious heaven's day.
But while its here, there's just one thing,
Pray our Lord, for peace he'll bring.

Sooner or Later, as we all know
There comes such a loving friend,
Who captures our hearts, our thoughts, and our souls
We try not to think of the end.
Sooner or Later, this one great love
Who has given our lives so much
Must go on ahead to the Rainbow Bridge
So far from from the comfort of touch.
We know in our hearts that he's happy there,
Yet, why won't the tears go away?
In his short life, he gave all that he could
And the love in his eyes would still say,
"I loved you with all of my heart
And leaving's not easy to do.
But Sooner or Later your pain will be joy
As you remember the life I went through."
